"Oh hello! I didn't hear you come in. Welcome to Chez Tressan. I have learned to walk on stilts in the last month as you can see."
Chillin' after my bath.
Mommy and Daddy leaving to celebrate our 2 year anniversary... Big thanks to Auntie Amy for watching the boy for us!
Cutest Grinch ever! Ignore the Yeti arm reaching in from the background.
Tressan is growing and learning so quickly these days.... he is extremely mobile, doing his asymmetrical crawl (we'll try to post a video soon) and cruising along furniture with ease. His favorite activity at present is pushing things back and forth. Mostly chairs. He kind of uses them as walkers, sometimes for long distances. He has just started to try out what it feels like to let go and stand alone for a few seconds at a time!
He is a very social guy, very sweet and smiley to us and usually to friends and strangers as well. Sometimes he gets shy or nervous for a little while but mostly he is intensely curious, and especially smiley towards other babies. He LOVES watching a video clip of his cousin Jenah saying some color words, and will cry if I don't replay it for him.
T understands a number of words, and can identify "Dada" and "Christmas tree" when we say the words. He also really loves reading books, and can often identify the correct one if you just say a line from it. We like to let him choose which one to read...he carefully considers his options, then crawls over and taps one or picks it up. He likes to help turn the pages.
Bathtime is still a great favorite, and T makes hilarious scream/growls of joy when he hears the bathwater start to run. He crawls over at top speed, often getting off balance and face planting or running into corners in his efforts to get to the bath ASAP!
He also loves going outside with Auntie Amy, Gran and us, and swinging!
Tooth #5 is in and we think another is probably on the way. He is getting quite adept at using his chompers to bite off pieces of food. Favorite foods so far: split pea soup and Ghirardelli's dark chocolate sundae. Least favorite: bananas
We have had a lovely Christmas season and even though T doesn't understand or care too much about what's going on, it's so much fun to have a little one around for all the traditions and festivities... Merry Christmas to all on this, the 12th day of Christmas!

very cute pictures! i didn't know that he didn't like bananas!!!
