T is 2!!!

Last Sunday, sweet Tressan celebrated his second "boosday". Bob made him a flourless chocolate cake with a Speculoos crust, topped by a dark chocolate ganache and Speculoos whipped cream. It was a hit!

We are so thankful for the last two years and excited for the years to come. Tressan is, as his granddad predicted he would be, a good person... funny, sensitive, enthusiastic, expressive, determined, curious and empathetic. He is quick to laugh and quick to make friends. He loves to sing and dance, to run and jump and shoot his basketball, to read and splash and snuggle. Thanks to all of you, family and friends, for supporting Bob and I as we care for Tressan.

An especially big thanks to my sister Amy, who has taken care of T while we work for the last 21 months, since he was 3 months old. Her playful spirit and full-hearted love have been water and sunshine for our little sprout, and we know that he will benefit from his time with her for the rest of his life! Their last full day together was on Friday; a bittersweet milestone for our family.
