Saskia is 4 months today. She is sitting on my lap as I type this, looking around intently and grabbing my sweater sleeve with both of her delicate hands. She is a joy and a wonderful person. She just started laughing loudly as of a few days ago, when we do funny faces, peekaboo, or blow raspberries on her cheeks. She also taught herself to roll from back to front last week (on Super Bowl Sunday!) and has been going crazy with this trick!
She is blowing lots of raspberries herself and being a drooly, smiling, happy, cuddly charmer. Interestingly, she does like to sing very sad songs, with a mournful expression on her face and a furrowed brow: "ahhhoooooouuuuuwwww....". We call this the Lament of Saskia.
Such a lovely girl. I love all the new tricks she has accomplished in such a short time.
