9 months in, 9 months out (of the belly)... another milestone for ATJ.
These days Asa is focused on exploring.. crawling faster and faster, checking out his big sib's rooms and toys, tasting new objects, and practicing moving from sitting to standing and back again with care. He is just starting to cruise along the couch and other furniture, with mixed results. He is starting to get those forehead bruises from faceplants and tumbles that I remember from when T was this age.
Current fave song is Wheels on the Bus- he recognizes the name and will say "Ah! Ah!" at a certain pitch and with a serious look, until we play it-- then he dances along excitedly 😄
Other fave activities that he will respond to the name of are "take a bath" and "go for a walk".
He also has been enjoying his hand me down plastic swing, hung from a tree branch just at the canyon edge of our backyard, and plastic car that he can kind of sit on.. but also just enjoys spinning the wheels with his hand, or pushing along the porch.

We set up a couple of gates to make the living room an Asa-friendly zone.
