In the last few months we have also transitioned to Asa sleeping in crib in our room until morning. It was a struggle for a few weeks, but now we are all sleeping well and feeling much more rested.
Current likes: going down the slide at playgrounds, watching cars and trucks pass through our glass front door, eating lots of snacks, being chased by Saskia around the downstairs rooms that form a circle, pretending to talk on the phone, taking baths, listening to music, dancing, "cooking" with bowls and wooden spoons, sometimes using onions or potatoes found in the pantry" holding multiple water cups and pouring water from one to another
Current dislikes: Many vegetables, having food cut into small pieces, cats, toys that make noises or dolls with eyes that move
Asa is talking quite a lot, and more every day it seems. Here are some of his words: bed, bath, stairs, cup, bowl, more, milk, water, bottle, butter (peanut butter), toast, nut (with T strongly enunciated), cookie, berry, apple ("appo"), cheese, car, truck ("guck"), ball, book, teeth, hair, eye, mouth, belly ("beddy"), toes, hands, brother ("budder"), sky ("ky"), bye bye, stairs, squirrel, doggie, bird (he recently pointed to a small flying insect that had landed on Bob and said "bird!" in a worried voice), tree ("tee"), no, out (used to request getting out of his crib), help, shoes, socks (something like "hkhoktchs"!!!), help, key.
