Tressan has started smiling and even chuckling a bit, mostly when playing or when his diaper is changed. He is very particular about having a dry diaper and seems very pleased when we change him. This video is from last week- not too many big smiles but you can tell he is a happy boy!
On Monday I was playing with Tressan after a nap and he very suddenly started moving his hand up toward his face. Normally his hands are much lower- he never scratches himself- so this was an obvious development. I immediately ran to get our videocamera, so this clip captures Tressan's first attempts to eat his hands! As you can see, the movement isn't too refined yet.
It is amazing to watch him grow and change in leaps and bounds.
