A Slow Return to Normalcy

 

Over the past few days we have been growing ever more confident with Tressan and life has begun to return to normal, only now with a baby included!

It's hard to know what color his eyes will be - depending on the light they look different currently - mostly dark blue or slate gray. I would guess they will turn dark brown eventually but we'll see!

Other than pictures of Tressan, one of our favorite things to take pictures of is food! Thursday morning I was feeling pretty well-rested and so I made a nice garden omelette.

On Thursday evening we were feeling pretty wild so Kiely had her first glass of wine in ~9.5 months.

 

We have taken Tressan out on a couple of little journeys so far. On Wednesday we took him on his first outing to a Peet's in a grocery store nearby to pick up some coffee beans. His carseat fits very nicely in his stroller and he slept the whole walk there and back.
