Sunday was Easter and we took Tressan to St. James (our church) for the first time.
We also gave him a little Easter basket filled with some candy and a bunny from Grandma and Grandpa Jones. Kiely will have to help him eat his candy. He looks slightly unamused by the Easter basket here while Auntie Amy is holding him.
Aunt Amy and Uncle James came over for Easter brunch after the service. We made two kinds of quiche - one with gruyere, spinach and pancetta and one with cheddar and sun-dried tomatoes. Bob got to try out his new food processor to make the crusts.
Kiely made the traditional Portuguese Easter bread - it was delightful as always.
Amy and James made a lovely large fruit salad and a bean salad and we all enjoyed some cheese and beer/wine.

Goodness! These Easter Sunday pics are all the candy I need--eye candy, that is. You folks are wielding that new camera with fine results. And someday I must try the traditional Portuguese Easter bread, if only because the picture makes me want to lick my computer screen.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see you guys when you're free :) Thank you for keeping up the blog--being along for the journey and taking in your quiet, confident parenting to Tressan is a gift.
